66回目のゴールデン・グローブの候補者が発表されました。 2週間も前に発表されてたんですね、知りませんでした。 2009年1月11日に受賞者が決まります。
過去の受賞を見ると、やはりOscarの前哨戦と言われても時期的にしょうがないのですが、若干一致しません。 必ずしもここでノミネートされたもの、受賞したものがOscarを制する訳ではないのですが、有力な候補にはなります。
で、個人的な注目点。 ・Mickey Rourke – The Wrestler 主演男優賞には、Leonardo DiCaprioやBrad Pittといったビッグスターが並びます。 2人もと言うのは大変珍しい事ですが、ここはMickeyでしょう。 華麗なる復活、Travoltaばりの肉体改造はさておき長いスランプからの見事なカムバック。 ・Heath Ledger – The Dark Knight 助演男優賞は堅いでしょう。 故人の受賞は久しいですが、圧倒的な演技と興行に与えたインパクトは大きいです。 Tom Cruiseの怪演も賞賛には値しますが、今年はやはりThe Dark Knightです。 ・Clint Eastwood Gran Torinoで主演男優賞を受賞するのでは、みたいな話があったのですが。 今年は、と言うか今年も音楽の部門でノミネート。 去年もGrace is goneで作曲賞にノミネートされてましたね。 Jazz好きは昔から有名な話です。 今年はChangelingで作曲賞、Gran Torinoで主題歌賞。 受賞したら凄いです。 Oscarでは是非主演男優賞でもノミネートして欲しい。
実はと言うかやはりと言うか、作品賞を始め地味なノミネート状況です。 The Dark Knightはかろうじて、Iron ManもIndiana Jonesも影すらありません。 十数年前は、これらビッグヒット・メジャーな作品は必ず名誉ノミネートされてたんですが。 良い面もあるけど、寂しい面もありますね。
